摘　　要：鄂西南山区岩溶水丰富,作为国家西部开发的重点地区之一,寻找到、利用好岩溶水资源,有利于鄂西南山区的经济发展。概述鄂西南山区地质背景及地貌特征,对岩溶水的基本特征、岩溶水水动力类型及地下暗河的发育分布规律进行分析论述。The mountainous area of western Hubei contains abundant karst water which plays an important role in local industry and human lives. As one place of the national western development zone, western Hubei must accelerate its economic growth during which the karst water should be discovered and utilization in good proportion and balance. Based on the local geological and topographical features, the author discussed the basic characteristics and dynamic types of the karst water as well as the development and distribution of ground rivers.
