摘　　要：地质找矿的全过程是获取地下矿产分布的信息,其产品是一份附有图、表的报告书,即一份信息资料。因此,从本质上讲地质找矿属于信息行业的范畴,可用信息论的基本原则来指导工作。从现代科技发展及找矿工作改革的需求来看,今后找矿工作应充分应用信息技术中的3个核心技术,即传感技术、传输技术和计算技术。The whole work of exploration is to get the information of status of distribution of ore deposits. The final product is a report with many figures and tables,i.e. a copy of information. So we can consider the exploration as a kind of work of information and use the basic principles of information theory to guide the work.It is very important to use the three key information techniques, i. e. sensing,communication and computing techniques -in exploration to meet the developing tendency of technique and reformation of exploration.
