摘　　要：移动WiMAX借助OFDMA等多项先进技术提供优质的移动宽带服务。它的设备制造、测试和认证发展迅速。移动WiMAX与3G技术互补,与E3G则呈现出竞争态势,但需求指标和核心技术的相似使其与后者的融合成为可能。Mobile WiMAX technology is a promising technology that meets the requirements for mobile broadband services, which adopts several cutting-edge technologies such as OFDMA. Equipment manufacturing, testing and certification of Wimax are proceeding rapidly. While complementing with 3G technologies and competing with E3G, mobile WiMAX has the possibility of convergence with the latter, considering the resemblance in requirements and core technonlogies.
