First Commercialization of Benzene Liquid-Liquid Extraction Technology

摘　　要：The 50 kt/a benzene extraction unit based on the liquid-liquid extraction technology at Karamay Petrochemical Company designed by PetroChina East China Design Institute has been successfully put on stream at the first attempt. The benzene quality has reached the design target with the purity exceeding 99.99%. The benzene content in the raffinate is less than 0.4 % and the solvent content is less than 5 ppm. Currently this technology has passed the assessment on the achievements organized by PetroChina and is to be disseminated in full scale within the PetroChina system.
