摘　　要：从林业的文化本质、传统森林文化的精神实质出发，结合对我国现代林业发展的历史考查，对我国现代林业的发展方向作出了有益的探索。阐述了林业只有经济和生态两维发展是不够的，提出了林业发展的第三维度——林业生态文化。并初步论述了林业生态文化的概念、意义、任务及其发展基础和目标。Starting at the cultural essence of forestry and forest culture, this paper discusses the issue about the dimension of forestry development, pointing out that it is not enough that forestry has two dimensions of development, and proposing a view of which forestry should have the third dimension, which is called cultural dimension of forestry, and also ecocultural forestry. And also discusses the concept about cultural forestry and its significance, basis, tasks and goals.
