摘　　要：随着视频通信技术的发展,视频图像压缩编码也成为人们关注的热点问题。从信息论的角度分析视频图像压缩编码技术在发展过程中如何减少冗余度以及获得高质量的图像画面的问题,并详细介绍了MPEG-4的编码方法。Along with the development of the video communication technology, the video image compression code also has become the hot topic. From the information theory angle ,this article analyzes the method of how to reduce the redundance in the developing process of the video image compression code technology to obtain the high grade image picture. The article also introduced the method of MPEG-4 code in detail.
