19世纪西方之新疆研究的兴起及其与清代西北史地学的关联

摘　　要：本文主要以近代中西之新疆研究为中心,从学术发展史的角度详细阐述了19世纪西方的新疆研究的兴起,并对二者间存在的关联与互动进行了论述。本文的观点是:近代中西之间的新疆研究各有所长,中国的研究长于文献考据,西方的研究则长于实地考察,更注重实用性,二者存在极强的互补性。但是,在总体上,近代中国的新疆研究已经远远落在了西方的后面。另外,受时势之影响,双方之间的交流也存在着很大的问题,尤其是中国学者对西方成果的利用远远逊于西方学者对中国成果的利用。The topic focuses on the Xinjiang Studies of Western countries and China in the 19th century. The rise of the studies is demonstrated, and the relation and influence between them are also recounted. The author thinks that the objects of China's Xinjiang study in the 19th century is mainly about the ancient materials and historical geography with the method of critical philology, but it is very different from the Western's relevant studies. The Western studies emphasize the importance of the field research and utility. So the two sides influence each other strongly. In general, the achievements of the China's Xinjiang Study in the 19th century had been far behind the achievements of the Western's. In addition, there were some problems on the exchanges between them.
