摘　　要：北美华文文学中的两大作家群，是指20世纪50至70年代由主要来自中国台湾的作家组成的作家群，和20世纪80年代以来由主要来自中国大陆的作家组成的作家群。这两大作家群在创作主题、书写侧重、艺术风格等方面，各有其不同的特征。究其原因，则在于分属这两大群体的作家们在时代环境、思想观念、教育背景、艺术追求等方面，均有所差异。There are two groups of writers in Chinese literature in North America. One is formed by Chinese writers who come from Taiwan China in 1950s to 1970s. The other is formed by Chinese writers who come from China's Mainland since 1980s. The two groups of writers have different characteristics in themes of literary works and styles because those writers who come from different areas have different backgrouds and different literary ideas.
