摘　　要：日本使用气体绝缘金属封闭开关设备(GIS)历史悠久,使用量最大。日本1963年开始使用72.5kVGIS,1973年开始使用混合技术开关设备(MTS)(国内习惯称复合式GIS—H-GIS)。迄今日本共使用GIS约12500间隔,其中60%装在户外。日本之所以大量使用GIS,不仅因GIS占地面积少、不受外界环境影响、运行高度可靠,还由于日本是个多地震的国家,而GIS属低位布置,重心低,抗震性能好因而更加受到日本用户的青睐。日本GIS的额定电压从72kV—120kV—300kV—550kV—800kV—1100kV,也就是从高压——超高压——特高压。The Japanese GIS is time-honored and enjoys good consumption. In 1963, Japan began to use 72.5kV GIS and began to use MTS （usually called as GIS-H-GIS in Japan） in 1973. Now Japan has about 12500 GIS equipment, 60% of them were installed outdoor. The reason of massive GIS applications is that the GIS occupies little area, it will not be influenced by the external environment, and its operation is stable and reliable. And Japan is a earthquake country, the GIS is positioned very low with lower gravity center, its earthquake proof performance is very good, so it is favored by Japanese users. The GIS rated voltage range covers 72kV-120kV- 300kV-550kV-800kV-1100kV, namely the high voltagesupervoltage and extra high voltage
