摘　　要：文章分析了位于美国洛杉矶帕利赛德太平洋城的一座山地独立住宅的设计策略,其建筑设计由洛杉矶的约翰斯顿—马克李建筑事务所承担。区划条例要求下的容量最大化和基地占地最小化是这个住宅的两项设计指导原则。最初的形态来源于对建筑物平面退界与剖面高度制约的回应,继而按照结构标准在三维层面得到进一步优化。设计结果是一个针对场地的特殊形态,满足了法规要求和优化建筑性能的条件。在开口处理上,为满足私密性的要求,力求窗户数量最少,为了通风和观景,则将窗户面积最大化。整个饰面试图缩小屋面和墙面的差异,同时明确室内室外的分别。This article presents the design strategy for the Hill House by Johnston Marklee ＆ Associates in Pacific Palisades, California.The single-family residence results from two economically driven demands to maximize the allowable volume permitted by the zoning code and to minimize the amount of foundations and subsequent footprint of the house.The initia envelope is shaped from a combination of property setbacks in plan and hillside heightrestrictions in section, and is further refined three-dimensionally according to structura criteria.The resulting structure adopts a site specific form by registering code requirements and optimizing the building＇s performance on an nclined plane.Window quantities are minimized for privacy while window sizes are maximized for views and ventilation.The overall cladding strategy seeks to minimize distinction between roof and wall planes while maximizing the differentiation between interior and exterior.
