长吻海蛇Pelamis platurus(Linnaeus)生殖周期的初步研究

摘　　要：长吻海蛇雄性曲细精管于8月已有生精现象发生,大部分为精母细胞,也有一些精细胞和精子。9月生精功能活跃,产生大量成熟精子。11月生精细胞出现退化现象,生精功能趋缓减弱。精子贮藏于输精管内过冬,供翌年春季交配之用。雌性每年5～6月排卵受精并开始胚胎发育,当年11～12月产仔,每胎仔数1～5条。535 male and 580 female marine snakes Pclamis platurus were collected from the sea near Pingtan island Fujian province during the actinic season of 1980～1982 and 1988.The reproductire state of males was determined through histological examination of the seminiferous tubules. Testicular recrudescence began in August. The function of the testis became very active in September when a large number of spermatozoa was produced Spermatogenesis apparently occufred mainty from August to September. Testis began to regress from November to the nex spring. Mating mainly occurred in the following spring. The reproduction of the females was ovoviviparaus and underwent an annual sexual cycle. Ovulation and parturition occurred in May～June and November～December respectively. The number of embryoa per clutch rarged from 1～5.
