摘　　要：作为和简.奥斯丁几乎同时代的英国女作家,范妮.伯尼是英国女性文学的先驱。她的小说和奥斯丁的小说都以描写女性及其婚姻为主,但在风格上两人却有很大的不同。本文通过对比两位女作家在创作上的相同与不同之处,试图挖掘英国早期女性文学的特点。As almost a contemporary of Jane Austen, Fanny Burney is one of the forerunners of the British feminist literature. Although her novels also focus on women and their marriages, there are great differences in style between her novels and those of Austen＇s. Through a brief comparison and contrast between the novels of these two female novelists, this essay makes a tentative analysis of the characteristics of the early feminist literature in Great Britain.
