摘　　要：通过对城市现代化进程中的聊城古城保护和更新的调查和分析,深入全面地认识历史文化名城——聊城古城的现状及其面临的问题,指出古城保护的必要性和更新发展的必然性,提出古城保护和更新的内容和方法不仅包含着古城本身的保护和维护,同时,还应包括对古城更新的控制与引导。Through the analysis and the investigation of the conservation and renewal of old city in Liaocheng, this article, discusses generally the realities and the existing problems, points out the necessity of conservation and the inevitability of renewal development, proposes that its content and measure include not only the conservation of the old city itself, but also the control and guidance of the organic update.
