摘　　要：发展林业可以促进农村生产力的发展，促进农村的生态建设和生态环境的改善，增加农民的收入、调整农村产业结构，也可以扩大农村人口的就业，对新农村的建设起到了积极的作用。同时，社会主义新农村建设也给林业发展带来了新的机遇。发展社区林业有利于林业三大效益协调发展；促进农业、牧业与林业的相互渗透；有利于保护土著居民的文化整体性等，在新农村建设中发挥巨大的作用。Forestry can play a positive role in building new socialist countryside in China.Forestry development can improve the productivity of countryside,increase farmers income,adjust industry structures in countryside,broaden employment approach of farmers and better the ecological environment of countryside.And building new countryside offers good opportunities for the development of forestry.The development of community forestry will contribute much to build new socialist countryside in China.
