摘　　要：随着社会经济的快速发展,大学生思想政治工作面临着许多新的问题和挑战,党的十六大提出的全面建设小康社会和四中、五中全会提出的建设社会主义和谐社会,对高校思想政治工作提出了更高的要求。高校思想政治工作要适应新形势、新任务,就必须坚持与时俱进,在教育观念、内容、方法和机制上实现创新,提高针对性和实效性。With the fast development of economy, the work of college students＇ thought is faced with new problems and challenge. The idea of constructing a better-off society of all-round raised in the 16th Party Congress and constructing socialist harmonious society raised in the Fourth and Fifth Plenary Session presents higher demands to the work of college students＇ thought. So it should face the new situation, new task, stick to the idea of ＂advancing with the times＂, innovate in teaching concept, content, method and system, and increase the validation and target.
