The continuous developing meaning of the clean energy vehicle was also described.The system design of fuel cell supercapacitor hybrid and power system working performance under different city bus driving conditions, especially under start up, idle, speed up, cruise, slow down, brake down etc, were discussed in detail. The performance output curves of fuel cell power (voltages vs. current) are flatter and stable with the hybrid with supercapacitor, and were benefit for fuel cell life.
