摘　　要：本文分析了欧洲公共行政的不同类型及其特点,探讨了行政传统在欧洲现代行政发展中的作用途径及其现实挑战,并基于行政传统与行政现代化的相互作用,对有着不同行政传统的国家行政改革的模式、战略选择及未来趋势作出分析,全面概括了行政现代化过程中趋同性与多样性的统一。This article analyzes different types of European administrative traditions, with the aim to probe its influence upon the administrative strncturse, values and modernization. Based on the interaction between the administrative traditions and modernisation, it discusses the different modes and strategies selection in the administrative reforms of the member states, and generalize the convergence and divergence in the process of administrative modernization.
