摘　　要：鉴于数据库应用软件在开发和逐步实施过程中,系统的不定期安装、更新和维护等所带来的巨大成本,从工程实现的角度分析如何利用数据库的内在机制如大二进制对象Blob和嵌入SQL等,通过开发有效的外壳程序,以实现应用软件的自动上传、自动更新和下载安装;并给出以Sybase数据库为例的主要表结构和算法实现。During the development and progressive implementation of database applications, the installation, update and maintenance of the system have been a big burden for software companies. A simple and efficient method for installing and updating the application software in database is proposed, based on Embedded SQL and the Blob concept, from an engineering implementation aspect. Some simple shell programs are developed in Sybase database, which greatly decrease the costs and improve the work efficiency.
