摘 要:目的:分析红细胞COMT活性与精神分裂症的关系,探讨精神分裂症发病的生化机制。方法:采用高效液相色谱法测定112例精神分裂症患者和116例健康正常人红细胞中COMT的活性,用SPSS统计软件对测定结果进行检验比较。结果:患者组与对照组年龄差异无显著性(P>0.05),患者组男女之间、对照组男女之间COMT活性差异也无显著性(P>0.05),COMT活性频率分布患者组在4.5~26.3nmol/ml RBC/hr范围,对照组为7.2~28.3 nmol/ml RBC/hr范围。患者组COMT平均活性为(12.2±4.0)nmol/ml RBC/hr,对照组COMT平均活性为(16.6±3.7)nmol/ml RBC/hr。男性患者为(12.3±3.8)nmol/ml RBC/hr,女性患者为(11.6±4.0)nmol/ml RBC/hr,对照组男性为(16.5±4.5)nmol/ml RBC/hr,女性为(15.3±3.9)nmol/ml RBC/hr,患者组和对照组及男、女性患者和男、女性对照者之间,COMT活性的差异均具非常显著性(P<0.001)。结论:精神分裂症患者红细胞COMT活性显著低于正常人,提示低活性COMT基因与精神分裂症关联。Objective:To analyze the relationship between catechol - O - methyltransferase (COMT) activity and schizophrenia. To explore the biological mechanism of the etiology of schizophrenia. Methods:The activities of 112 schizophrenia and 116 normal control were measured with high performance liquid chromatography, all examined data were tested by SPSS 11.0v. Results : There was no significant difference between patients group and control group in sex and age ( p 〉 0.05 ), and no difference between male and female group in COMT activity. COMT activity frequency distribution of patients group and control group are at the range of 4.5. - 26. 3nmol/ml RBC/hr and 7.2 -28.3nmol/ml RBC/hr separately. The average activity of COMT in patients group and control group were 12.20 ± 4.0nmol/ml RBC/hr and 16.6 ± 3.7nmol/ml RBC/hr representatively. COMT activity in male and female patient were 12.3 ± 3.8nmol/ml RBC/hr and 11.6 ± 4.0nmol/ml RBC/hr. , male and female control group were 16.5 ± 4.5nmol/ml RBC/hr and 15.3 ±3.9nmol/ml RBC/hr, there were significant difference between patients group and control group and also between male and female (P 〈0. 001 ). Conclusions: The activity of COMT in affective disorders red cells is lower than normal population and suggested that the lower COMT activity of erythrocytes associated with schizophrenia.
