摘　　要：都市图书馆活动的评价研究需要关注城市发展环境的重要影响。与欧美现代都市相比,当代中国都市在城市化进程中有更多的人为干预色彩,这种因素固然能加速城市的发展进程,但也使城市的社会发展阶段和城市文化生态等与西方都市社会有重大差异。因此,当代中国都市图书馆评价不能简单照搬欧美现代图书馆的一般标准,而需要深入研究自身的城市发展环境特点,寻找符合中国国情的都市图书馆评价体系模式。The evaluation and research of city library activities require paying attention to the important influence of the environment for the city development. Compared with the modern metropolises in Europe and America, the development of Chinese cities is affected by more human factors. This fact on the one hand has helped to speed up the development, but on the other hand, has led to the significant differences in social development of cities and their cultural environment between Chinese and western cities. As a result, the evaluation of Chinese city libraries should not simply follow the general standard of modern libraries in Europe and America, but need in-depth research on the city library development in the country and find out an special evaluation system that suits the Chinese situation.
