摘　　要：随着创新在社会发展、历史进步中作用的日益凸现,从唯物史观的角度看,创新已经成为历史进步的直接动力。确立“创新是历史进步直接动力”的思想,以之分析推动历史进步的主体,评价推动历史进步合力中的核心力量、主导力量,进而倡导创新、激励创新、推动创新,对于引导社会更快、更好、更节省、更顺利、更稳定、更和谐地可持续地发展是具有重大意义的。这一观点的提出,是对唯物史观的继承和发展,对于建设有中国特色的社会主义,对于贯彻科学发展观具有重要意义。As the role that innovation plays in social development and historic progress becomes more and more highlighted, it has been accepted by historic materialism that innovation has been one of the direct forces that promotes historic progress. Holding the idea of ＂innovation as the direct force of historic pro- gress＂, this paper probes into the subject, core and dominant forces of historic progress in an attempt to promote and advocate innovation. Such a study is inducive for the society to develop in a quicker, better, smoother and more harmonious and sustainable way. The idea proposed therein, as the inheriting and de- velopment of historic materialism, is of great significance both for the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and for the enforcement of the outlook of scientific development.
