惟有牡丹真国色 历经岁月花更香——中国工商银行牡丹卡业务20年发展巡礼

摘　　要：1987年10月,工商银行选择在经济活跃的广州进行试点,由广州分行发行地区性信用卡——“红棉卡”。1989年,工商银行将信用卡统一名命为“牡丹卡”,以寓“牡丹花花中之王,牡丹卡卡中之冠”之意,表现了工商银行对未来信用卡业务发展的希望与期待。经过20年岁月的磨砺,牡丹卡业务在众香国度里绽放得更加娇艳。2006年1月,我行与包括高盛集团、德国安联集团和美国运通公司在内的投资团签署了战略投资与合作协议,美国运通公司与我行在联合发行信用卡方面开展合作。可以预见,牡丹卡业务将伴随着我行的改革和发展向着精品化、全球化和专业化的方向迈进。The number of 10 million credit cards is both a milestone and a new starting point for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. ICBC will be taking off for the future carrying with the trust of 10 million card-holders by taking the measures such as expanding the scale of operation, building an internationally renowned brand, and creating a first-class professionals to enhance core competitiveness and service level and lead Peony card business to fine, global and professional direction.
