摘　　要：文章认为,地方高等院校在高等教育大众化、多样化的背景下,在坚持科学发展观、构建社会主义和谐社会的形势下,面临着新的机遇和挑战,进行科学定位显得尤为重要。Now, higher education is in the popularization and diversity. In the situation of upholding the scientific development view and constructing the socialist harmonious society, local universities and colleges meet the new opportunities and challenges, so it is very important that local universities and colleges practise the scientific position.
