摘　　要：土壤生物工程是一项建立在可靠的土壤工程基础上的生物工程,即采用存活植物及其他辅助材料来构筑各类边坡(山地斜坡、江河湖库堤岸、海岸坡岸等)结构,实现稳定边坡,减少水土流失和改善栖息地生态环境等功能的集成工程技术。利用植物稳定边坡的方法已成为边坡稳定、侵蚀控制和生态修复的重要工程手段。Agro-biological engineering is the one that is built on a solid soil structure, a integral technique that uses living plant or other supplementary materials to consolidate the side slopes （e.g. hillside, river embankment and seashore etc） in order to stabilize side slope, lessen water loss and soil erosion and improve natural habitat. Using plant to stabilize side slope has become an important means for side stability, erosion control and ecological rehabilitation.
