摘　　要：对关于形状和位置公差的美国标准ASME Y14.5M与中国GB/T 1182-1996标准之间的一些异同进行了比较。主要叙述了它们之间的一些不同之处,使广大机械技术人员在使用美国图纸时对美国标准中关于形状和位置公差的特点有一个认识和了解,以促进机械行业的国际交流与合作。Some similarities and differences between the American standard ASME Y14. 5M and the Chinese standard GB/T 1182 - 1996 are compared and the main differences are described. As a result, the mechanical engineers and technicians will have a better understanding of the shape and position tolerance in the American standard, thus promoting the international exchanges and cooperation between the both sides.
