摘　　要：偏振模色散仿真器是研究偏振模色散的重要工具。文章提出了一种新型的偏振模色散仿真器,并对该仿真器作了理论分析和仿真。理论分析和仿真结果表明:这种新型的偏振模色散仿真器能够产生可调的差分群延时和实现偏振态的各态遍历。Polarization Mode Dispersion Emulator （PMDE） is an important device for the research in Polarization Mode Dispersion （PMD）. In this paper, a new design of PMDE is presented and the theoretical analysis and simulation of this emulator made, which proves that it generates tunable Differential Group Delay （DGD） and realizes ergodicity of the polarization state.
