摘　　要：近年来,我国电信业发展突飞猛进,但在老、少、边、山、穷地区,通信发展情况却与整个电信发展水平很不平衡,少数穷困地区处于停滞状态甚至出现倒退。所以实现村村通势在必行,而重中之重是采用什么样的接入网技术。本文介绍了WIMAX的关键技术、优点,以及在“村村通”工程中的应用。In recent years, the development of country＂ s telecommunication industry progressed greatly, but in mountainous area, the correspondence development situation is not actually keep balance with the entire telecommunication level .And a few poor areas are at the stationary state and even appear to retreat. Therefore, the Project of Counties Network is imperative, and it is most important that how to choose Access technology. This paper introduces the WIMAX＇ s essential technology and merit, as well as ＂ Application in the project of Counties Network＂ .
