摘　　要：新中国成立初期,刘少奇对中国如何进行现代化建设进行了积极探索和研究,提出中国应该走以农轻重为序的社会主义工业化道路,并率先提出了民主化的任务,强调工业化必须与民主化相结合。他的现代化建设思想始终坚持从中国国情出发,工业化发展战略具有中国特色。In the initial period of New China, Liu Shaoqi positively explored how to carry on modernization in China. He pointed out that China should adhere to the socialist way of industrialization in the order of agriculture, light industry and heavy industry. He was the first to propose the task of democracy and emphasized that Industrialization should be combined with Democracy. His idea of Modernization is based on China＇s actual conditions and his strategy of Industrialization is rich in Chinese characteristics.
