摘　　要：报道了金坪矮垂栗矮垂性状在有性世代的遗传以及在自然授粉实生后代中１／３植株表现矮垂性，２／３植株恢复正常特性。This paper reports for the first time the inheritance of Pendulous trait in the uniontrolled pollination seedlings of Castanea mollissima BL Var. Pendula. zhou et zhou Var.nov. The short pendulous trait of Castanea mollissima a variant of Chinese chestnut can be inherited through sexual reproduction. In the generation from natural pollination 1/3 of the seedlings appeared pendulous while 2/3 of the seedlings appeared normal. The segregation ratio was 1∶2.
