摘　　要：创新是贯彻落实国家对保险业改革发展要求的迫切需要,是解决行业发展困难和问题的有效途径,是应对日趋激烈的市场竞争的现实要求。近年来我国保险业创新虽有突破性进展,但在创新力度、创新机制、分支机构积极性、创新保护制度等方面仍有差距,必须从创新类型、创新价值衡量、创新与继承、创新与实践等方面深刻理解保险刨新的内涵,把握企业主体、联合开发、持续协调发展、开放性、市场化、共同推动等原则,通过提高重视程度、增强创新意识、政产学研紧密结合、重点突破关键领域、建立创新激励和保护机制等途径,进一步提升保险行业的创新能力,推动保险业又好又快地发展。There is an urgent need of innovation to comply with reform and development of the insurance industry as requested by the government, It is an effective route to solve difficulties and issues during the industry＇s development, and a realistic requirement to respond to increasingly intensifying competition, Even though China＇s insurance industry has made breakthroughs in recent years, it is still to be improved in terms of intensity of innovation, mechanism of innovation, enthusiasm of branches, and protection of innovations, Therefore, we should fully understand the connotation of insurance innovation from the aspects of the type of innovation, measurement of the value of innovation, innovation and inheritance, and innovation and reality, etc, To further enhance the innovativeness of insurance enterprises, the latter should take the initiative proactively while cooperating with other entities. They should also adopt a market-oriented and an open approach in promoting innovation consistently, and strengthen the innovation awareness vehemently. In terms of implementation, they should closely integrate research and development with execution, gain breakthrough in key areas, and establish a motivation and protection mechanism. In so doing, we can further enhance innovation in the insurance industry and promote a faster and better development of the insurance industry,
