摘　　要：2004年7月至8月,对湖北省房县野人谷自然保护区兽类进行了调查.共记录到兽类8目26科61种.其中,东洋界种37种,古北界种15种,广布种9种;国家重点保护兽类14种,湖北省重点保护兽类18种;对保护区的兽类资源进行评价并提出保护建议.The survey of mammalian resources were investigated in Yerengu Nature Reserve in Fang county, Hubei province from July to August 2004. 61 species subordinating to 8 orders, 26 families were recorded respectively. An investigating of the biogeographic origin of this mammal fauna indicates that 37 species belong to the Oriental realm, 15 species belong to the Palaearctic realm, and 9 species are widely distributed. 14 species in this reserve have been identified as nationally protected rare mammals and 18 species are protected by province. The wild mammalian resdurces are evaluated, and the countermeasures for protection are proposed.
