摘　　要：总结了1995年海南东方近海5．2级地震的地质背景、宏观烈度、地震序列特征、前兆异常以及地震活动与环境因子的对应关系，并提出未来一年或稍长时间内，该区及附近地区仍存在发生5～6级地震的危险性。The seismo-geologlc background, macroseismic intensity, seisndc sequence feature, precursor anomaly and the correlation between seismicity and environment factor of the ML5. 2 earthquake in coatal waters of Dongfang county, Hainan province have been sutnmrised, then propose the earthquake hazard of magnitude 5 to 6 is still to exist in this area and its contiguity in the future of one year or a little more.
