摘　　要：在对车牌自动识别系统的基本原理进行分析的基础上,结合在高速公路管理中的应用,说明该系统具有广泛的应用领域,以推广车牌自动识别系统在高速公路中的应用,从而加强对高速公路运营的管理。Based on the basic principle analysis of Automatic License Plate Identify System（ALP IS）and combined with the application in expressway administration, the paper explains the widely use scope of the system, in order to popularize the application of automatic vehicle mark identification system and strengthen the management of expressway operation.
