摘　　要：通过对甘肃省3县12乡镇的实地调查,分析了西部乡镇图书馆的发展现状和读者需求,并以Y镇为个案,阐述了镇校联合办馆模式的优势,构建了"五位一体"镇校联合图书馆的新模式,并提出相应对策。Based on a field investigation carried out in 12 towns of Gansu province, this paper analyzes the present situation of township library and readers＇ need for it in the western region. A case study of town Y was done to discuss the advantage of co - construction of joint library by the town government and the schools, thus proposing the relational suggestions.
