摘　　要：研究了我国广西省南宁市2134名居民代谢综合征患病率,年龄23～80岁,无心、脑、肾疾病和糖尿病。按ATPⅢ标准代谢综合征患病率为5·01%,按中华糖尿病学会标准为8·48%,按国际糖尿病联盟(IDF)标准为12·56%。IDF标准适合我国南方人群。The study of 2134 subjects in Nanning at the age of 23-80 years （mean, 55 years） without diabetes and disorders of heart, brain and kidney for the prevalence of metabolic syndrome （MS） showed that the MS prevalence was 5.01% by NCEP-ATPⅢ criteria, 8.48% by criteria of Chinese Diabetes Society, and 12.56% by criteria of International Diabetes Federation （IDF）. The IDF criteria was suitable for south Chinese of Nanning city, Guangxi province.
