摘　　要：介绍了GPS和GIS的概念、特点,以实例说明将GPS和GIS技术相结合应用于木材运输中的可行性。This article described the conception and characteristics of global position system and geographical information system, It demonstrated the feasibility of applying GPS and GIS integrated technology to lumber transporting by living example.
