摘　　要：《促织》《变形记》都写到人化为虫的故事,但二者背后有深厚的中西方审美心理差异:《促织》体现的是中华民族"善有善报"的良好愿望,小说中充满了作家的激情;《变形记》体现的是西方人对现实的清醒认识,他们不迷信人以外的任何力量,当人不能改变命运时,只有面对死亡,小说充满了对现实生活的冷峻分析和悲观情绪。Cricket and Distortion Records are all the stories about the human changing into the insect. But the deep difference of national esthetic psychology is in the two works：Cricket manifests the Chinese desire that the good is rewarded with good,so the novel is full of the writer＇ fervor;Distortion Records manifests the western sober understanding of reality,they don＇t have a superstitious belief in anything but human being. When human cannot change destiny,only they face death,so the novel is full of the solemn analysis of real life and the pessimism.
