Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Three Phenolic Molecules at the Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes Modified Electrode

摘  要:采用酸氧化方法预处理多壁碳纳米管(MWCNT)并制得MWCNT修饰玻碳电极(MWCNT/GCE)。并用伏安法分析了电极表面MWCNT在B-R缓冲溶液中的电化学行为,在此基础上着重研究了苯酚、邻苯二酚和对苯二酚在MWCNT/GCE上的电催化氧化。结果表明,MWCNT对这3种酚类物质具有催化作用,使其氧化峰电位负移,氧化电流增加。修饰MWCNT后电极有效面积的增加降低了电流密度,也有助于过电位的降低。对它们的检测条件进行了优化。这些酚类物质的检测限均低于在普通玻碳电极上的检测限,表明使用MWCNT/GCE可以提高此类物质的检测灵敏度。Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) were pretreated with the method of carboxylic acidic oxidation, and the modified electrode (MWCNT/GCE) was prepared with MWCNT being coated onto the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The electrochemical properties of the MWCNT/GCE were investigated with cyclic vohammetry (CV). Electrocatalytic oxidations of phenol, catechol and hydroquinone at the sensitivity of the were also studied further. The results suggest the MWCNT with the catalytic effect for the three molecules,their oxidic potential and density of oxidic current are also changed and increased. In addition, the effective areas of modified electrode are increased and the density of the current is also decrease, which bendfits to reduce overpotential. The conditions of the molecules' detection were optimized. Under the optimal conditions the detective limits of these molecules at the MWCNT/GCE are lower than those obtained at the GCE. This indicates that the sensitirity of the detection is improved greatly.
