摘　　要：通过对长沙理工大学2003-2006年公开发表的6538篇论文的统计与分析，从论文数量与质量两方面论述了论文产出过程中存在的问题．认为提高科研能力和重视选择目标期刊是增加论文产出数量和改善与提升论文质量的重要途径．目的是为学校的学科规划和建设、人才培养和引进、科研人才发掘、科研规划和管理提供科学依据．Through the statistics and analysis about the 6 538 theses of the Changsha University of Science and Technology published in public from 2003 to 2006, the existing prbloms were discussed from the two aspects-the quantity and quality of theses, and it is believed that improvement of ability of scientific research and emphases of choosing target periodical are significant methods to raise the quantity and improve the quality of theses. The purpose is to provide scientific evidences of planning and construction of subject, cultivation and introducion of talents, programing and management of scientific research.
