摘 要:我国金属矿山储存的尾矿超过40亿t,而且每年以3亿t的数量在增长。尾矿排入河道、沟谷、低地,污染水土大气,破坏环境,乃至造成灾害。尾矿的治理和利用是十分紧迫的事情。尾矿综合回收有价组分可创造巨大财富。要加强调查研究,实行整体利用;通过工程示范、技术攻关、建立高附加值的产业,变害为利。Demonstration project for the disposal, management and resources of mine tailings in China has been one of the first priority projects. It symbolizes that the resources utilization of mine tailings haa been put on the agenda of the 21st century both at home and abroad. This article makes a review on the present situation of tailings utilization and points out that it is time for us to utilize mine tailings. The agenda as a whole will be carried out in the 21st century. By the demonstration project, tackling key problems in science and technology will promete tailings utilization. More value industries and items should be put into operation. It is in urgent need to make the overall utilization technology into a system and into an industry, and to set up a national technological project center for tailings utilization. It can be anticipated that mine tailings will be the new resources commonly utilized in the 21st century.
