摘　　要：基于GIS技术编制中国中央造山带前寒武纪地质图是一种科学有效的方法,它以大陆板块活动论为指导,以全国1∶50万及1∶250万地质图数据库为基础,充分反映近年来地质调查和科研新成果,并按照前寒武纪地质特点进行综合设计和系统编制。编图工作流程包括设计编写、源数据准备、空间数据建立、数据套合和出版印刷五个阶段。通过多种空间数据与属性数据的选择、连接与结合,实现了不同时间、不同比例尺地质数据的转换与拼接,达到了提高图件质量和工作效率的目的。It is very scientific and effective to compile the Precambrian geological map of the central China orogenic belt with GIS technique. The work is based on the plate structure theories, China geo-map data in scale of 1 ： 500 000 and 1 ： 2 500 000 and Precambrian geological characters. Many new data of geological survey and study was introduced in the map, The working process included five steps of making plan, preparing source data, setting up geo-database, organizing data and publishing. Through selecting, connecting and combining the spatial data with attribute data, the geo-data in different scales and time was transformed and jointed together, achieving the aim of improving map quality and work efficiency.
