摘 要:目的:嗅鞘细胞移植在脊髓损伤、神经系统脱髓鞘疾病等领域的潜在治疗作用日渐凸现,文章就嗅鞘细胞名称规范和近百年研究历史简况作一归纳总结。方法:应用计算机检索PUBMED1900-01/2007-04期间的相关文章,检索词为“olfactory in title,abstract”,不限定文章语言种类。同时计算机检索中国期刊全文数据库1979-01/2007-04期间的相关文章,题名检索词为“嗅,细胞”,关键词为“嗅,胶质,细胞”,并限定文章语言种类为中文。对资料进行初审,并查看每篇文献后的引文。文章所述内容应与嗅鞘细胞名称规范及其历史简况研究相关,排除重复研究或Meta分析类文章。结果:共收集到22904篇相关文献,228篇文献符合纳入标准,排除的文献为内容无关、陈旧或重复。入选文献涵盖嗅鞘细胞研究的所有方面,对嗅鞘细胞的不同名称进行全面收集和整理,汇总英文名称和中文译名各9个,提出推荐名称;总结了嗅鞘细胞研究领域的国内外发展趋势;回顾复习嗅鞘细胞的生物学特性、形态学特征、培养、建系及鉴定、移植治疗各种动物疾病模型实验、具体临床应用等内容。结论:大量基础实验和近年来临床研究均表明,嗅鞘细胞是一种特殊类型的胶质细胞,对中枢神经系统多种疾病具有广阔的治疗前景,值得深入研究,以进一步提高患者的临床治疗效果。AIM: Olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs) transplantation play a potential therapeutic role for the intervention in the patients with spinal cord injury and demyelinating diseases. The term specification and the recent century history (1900 to 2007) of research on OECs were reviewed in this article. METHODS: Related articles were searched in PUBMED published from January 1900 to April 2007 with the key words of “olfactory in title, abstract”. Meanwhile, related articles were also retrieved in China Journal Full-text Database (CJFD) published between January 1979 and April 2007 with the title key words of “olfactory, cell” or with the key words of “olfactory, gila, cell” in Chinese. The data were firstly selected, and the quotation of each article was looked over. Inclusive criterion was those papers of term specification and the recent century history research on olfactory ensheathing cells. Exclusive criteria were those of repetitive research articles or Meta analysis articles. RESULTS: A total of 228 among 22904 related literatures were selected, which were accorded with the inclusive criterion. Other papers were eliminated due to the unrelated, old or repeated content of articles. The papers cited in this review involved all the aspects of the research on OECs. Different terms of OECs were collected and arranged. The 9 English terms and 9 Chinese terms of OECs were collected and the “olfactory ensheathing cells” was recommended here. The trend of this research area was analyzed. The author reviewed the papers on the cytobiology, molecular biologic properties and morphology of OECs, the methods of culture, establishing clones, and identification of OECs, OEC transplantation for various animal models, and the clinical application of OEC transplantation. CONCLUSION: Numerous basic research and recent clinical studies show that OECs that is a novel special glial cell plays an important potential role in the treatment of many central nervous system diseases.
