LU Yongxiang:CAS to work better in spearheading development

摘　　要：At the closing session of the 2007 work meeting of CAS on 21 March, CAS President LU Yongxiang elaborated on the goal of building CAS into an enterprising institution featuring reform, innovation, and coordinated progress. He also dwelt on his strategic ideas for CAS＇s development, saying that in order to help build an innovation-friendly society, CAS should have a clearer understanding of its leading role, deepen its reforms in accordance with the law of development and improve its style of work.
