摘　　要：尽管海明威没有一部作品是以女性为主角的,但是在他几部长篇小说以及众多短片小说中都描写了女性,可见女性人物在海明威的作品占据了重要的位置。《永别了,武器》中的女主人公凯瑟琳·巴克莱就是一个。Many critics believed that Hemingway was just adept in describing code heroes＇and male＇s world in which no women existed. No women existed as protagonists, but they appeared in his novels and most short stories. So women occupied a major part in his works. Though some critics had noticed his women, the comprehension of his women went to extreme. Take Catherine Barkley as an example in A Farewell to Arms, gave her a new impersonal just remark.
