How to adapt and utilize battlefield electro-optic environment becomes a key point to win the battle. The meaning of battlefield light waveband electromagnetic environment was introduced. The importance of light band in the whole electromagnetic spectrum was pointed out. The transmission features of light signals through atmosphere were discussed. The features of light signals in battlefield environment were analyzed. The radiant features of radiant sources in battlefield were analyzed.
