摘　　要：目前学术界对于秦文化的概念和内涵仍有歧义。考察和探索秦文化的起源与形成,必须充分把握其在时间上的漫长性和阶段性,空间上的流动性和扩展性,还有秦文化的创造者"秦人"含义的模糊性与与延展性,以及秦文化来源的多元性与复杂性等特点;并将秦人族源与秦文化起源加以区别。广义的秦文化就是指伴随秦人兴起、建国和统一的过程,而由其创造、发展并不断得到扩充的物质文化与精神文化的总和。秦早期文化是秦人经过漫长的起源而形成自为的民族之后,由其在陇右天水地区创造和发展起来的一种地域文化,亦可称天水秦文化。秦早期文化是秦文化发展史上的最早阶段和源头所在,积淀和蕴藏着秦文化的种种原始基因和本质要素。At present the disagreement about the concept and the connotation of Qin culture still exists in academic circles. To investigate and explore the origin and formation of Qin culture, we must grasp fully protraction and stages in time, mobility and expansion in space, ambiguity and extension of ＂Qin people＂ meaning, who are Qin culture＇s creator, pluralism and complication of Qin culture＇s origin, etc. and distinguish between Qin people＇s race origin and Qin culture＇s origin. In a broad sense Qin culture refers to a process with Qin people＇s origin, national reconstruction and unity, and also the sum total of their physical culture and spiritual culture. Early Qin culture is a region culture created and developed in Longyou Tianshui region after Qin people constructed their nation, also called Tianshui Qin culture. Early Qin culture is the earliest stage and source in Qin culture history, and contains a variety of original factors and instinctive points. It＇s a key for Qin culture＇s research and study to understand scientifically Qin culture and research Qin history.
