摘　　要：“和平发展”是中国共产党的新一届中央领导集体在继承邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义道路基础上的又一伟大创新,是中国在新时期的国家发展战略。和平发展的理论内涵是:和平是关键,发展是和平的发展、开放的发展、合作的发展。和平与发展的辩证关系是:和平是发展的基础和终极目标,发展是物质保障。和平发展战略具有重大的现实意义。The connotation of peaceful development theory is： peace is the key and development is a kind of peaceful, open and cooperative development. The dialectical relationship between peace and development is： peace is the basis and ultimate target for development and development is the material guarantee. Peaceful development strategy has great practical significance.
