摘 要:针对DICOM医学图像特点,提出了一种基于PC环境的医学图像体绘制方法。该方法通过从DICOM文件中获取图像的相关信息确定三维体数据模型,对该体数据首先进行降维,再对降维后的体数据进行分类,将前景体素分离出来;进而对前景体素先采用最近邻插值,而后采用三次线性插值的体绘制方法进行显示。实验结果表明,该方法能够在PC上实现医学图像的实时体绘制。Purpose. In general, the size of dataset consisting of the medical across-sections is quite large, and its 3D volume rendering is often limited by high computational demand. As a result, it is difficult to realize the real-time rendering on PC. A novel real-time medical volume rendering method of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) images based on PC is presented. Firstly, the information that is relevant to 3D visualization of the medical images is obtained to establish the 3D data set model, and then the volumetric data size is reduced in the three directions at the same ratio. Then, the foreground voxel is separated from the volume and is displayed by the dynamic volume rendering. The experiments are performed in IDL 6.3 on a PC with Xeon(TM) 3.6G, 2G RAM and 512M RAMDAC. Real-time volume rendering is achieved by the nearest neighbor interpolation for a 512 × 512 × 156 data set. As for another 512×512×548 volumetric data set, it takes about 0. 13 s in volume rendering using the same interpolation way, which is acceptable for doctors. Even though trilinear interpolation is employed, the time cost of this method presented in the paper is only about 1/6 of the conventional volume rendering. The results show that the real-time volume rendering is implemented to most medical volumetric data on PC.
