C+L波段熔锥型宽带耦合器的研制与特性分析

摘　　要：报道了熔锥型宽带耦合器的原理及制作工艺,以预拉法造成两光纤在熔锥区域传播常数的偏差从而研制了不同参数配置下的C（1525-1565nm）和L（1565-1620nm）波段的宽带2×2光纤耦合器,耦合比变化分别为（50±1.1）%和（50±2.8）%,与理论非常吻合。耦合器的附加损耗值均为0.03dB,光纤锥体结构特性和两光纤间的差异是造成附加损耗的主要原因。The manufacture and theory of a wide band fuse - tapered coupler are presented. Using pre - pulling manner, which results different propagation constants of two fibers, 2 x 2 couplers with different parameters was developed. They have wavelength- flattened characteristics in C（ 1525 -1565 nm） or L （1565 -1620 nm） wavelength band and their scope of coupling ratios are （50±1.1 ） % and （50 ±2.8 ） %, respectively, which are in good line with the theoretical results. All the excess losses are 0.03 dB and it mainly due to the characteristics of tapered fiber structure and differences between the two optical fibers.
