公安民警执法权威树立的紧迫性及途径

摘　　要：近年来,人民警察在依法执行公务时遇到的困难和阻力越来越多,特别是遭到暴力阻挠,甚至人身遭受围攻殴打呈频发势头,这必将动摇公安机关在社会公众中的整体执法权威。因此,公安机关要深刻认识到树立执法权威的紧迫性和必要性,通过赋予人民警察相应的权力和地位,改善执法条件,树立人民警察的强制性执法权威;通过提高人民警察自身素质,树立人民警察的自然性执法权威;通过强化对外宣传,弘扬人民警察的执法权威,真正担负起为构建社会主义和谐社会创造和谐稳定的社会环境和公正高效的法治环境的历史使命。In recent years, there are more and more difficulties and resistance, when the police officers execute their duties. Some are subjected to violence, and some even suffer siege and strike, which would shake the overall enforcement authority of policemen in public. Therefore, public security should recognize the urgency and necessity of building up enforcement authority deeply, through several ways： giving the policemen rights and status, improving law enforcement conditions, building up mandatory enforcement authority, improving policemen＇s quality, building up natural law enforcement authority, and strengthen external propaganda. Public security must take on their history mission to build a harmonious society, to create a harmonious, and stable social environment and to form a fair and efficient law environment.
